The 17-year-old Mel who was last seen around 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 14 near the Bronxville Public Library, has been found safe.
Mel Harris was located at the Staten Island Ferry Terminal in Lower Manhattan, authorities announced late Friday afternoon, March 15.

A 17-year-old boy has gone missing in Westchester and authorities are asking for the public's help in locating him.
Mel Harris, who authorities say has autism, was last seen at the Bronxville Public Library at around 6:30 Thursday night, March 14.
He is described as being 5-foot-1, 110 pounds and was wearing a red jacket and red jeans when he was last seen.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts should call 911 or Bronxville Police at 914-337-0500.
